Innovatie is een strategische prioriteit van het Dutch Relief Alliance en ondersteunt ons engagement om de relevantie, kwaliteit en effici\u00ebntie van humanitaire acties voortdurend te verbeteren. In het licht van complexe en evoluerende crises, groeiende behoeften en beperkte middelen, stelt innovatie ons in staat oplossingen te ontwikkelen en op grotere schaal toe te passen die een grotere impact hebben op door crises getroffen bevolkingsgroepen.

Bij het Dutch Relief Alliance is innovatie geen ge\u00efsoleerde activiteit, maar een transversale aanpak die ingebed is in gezamenlijke acties, partnerschappen en onze bredere leeragenda. Wij zien innovatie als een dynamisch proces dat leidt tot nieuwe of verbeterde producten, diensten, processen of paradigma's die resulteren in tastbare verbeteringen in humanitaire resultaten.

Onze aanpak omvat alle fasen van innovatie, van vroege herkenning en ontwikkeling tot proefprojecten en schaalvergroting. Innovatie wordt ondersteund als een specifieke werkstroom en als een ge\u00efntegreerd onderdeel van gezamenlijke acties, waarbij ervoor wordt gezorgd dat nieuwe oplossingen zijn gebaseerd op de operationele realiteit. Alle initiatieven worden geleid door humanitaire principes en gevormd door kernwaarden zoals lokalisatie, participatie, verantwoordelijkheid tegenover de getroffen bevolking, inclusiviteit en het nemen van verantwoorde risico's.

De Ducht Relief Alliance heeft duurzame financi\u00eble toezeggingen gedaan voor innovatie. Door de DRA Innovatiefonds (DIF<\/strong>), over \u20ac 12 miljoen<\/strong> is toegewezen om innovatie over meerdere jaren te ondersteunen. Dit fonds stelt DRA-leden en hun partners in staat om veelbelovende oplossingen voor contextspecifieke uitdagingen te testen, te implementeren en uit te breiden. Daarnaast zijn er speciale oproepen zoals de Innovatie Open Oproep<\/strong> hebben gezorgd voor gerichte financiering, waarbij \u20ac1,8 miljoen<\/strong> om schaalbare, lokaal geleide initiatieven in humanitaire contexten te ondersteunen. In de afgelopen jaren is nog eens 5 miljoen euro toegevoegd om de capaciteit van het fonds verder te vergroten. Dit weerspiegelt de voortdurende prioriteit die de DRA geeft aan innovatie als strategische drijfveer voor het verbeteren van humanitaire resultaten.<\/p>
