A team of researchers from Ibex Associates Limited is currently evaluating the Dutch Relief Alliance. Their focus is the functioning of the DRA as well as the performance of Joint Responses implemented by DRA members between 2018 and 2021.
The evaluation is an important means for DRA to be accountable and to learn lessons from past experience.
An in-depth review of Joint Responses will happen in three selected countries over the next couple of months, involving interviews with DRA member staff, local partner staff, community members, local authorities and others.
Remote interviews will be conducted with a wide range of past and present DRA Committee members, Joint Response leads, Dutch Government representatives and other key stakeholders. In addition a survey will be launched in the next month, to capture views across DRA member HQ and field staff involved in the planning and implementation of DRA activities.
If you would like to participate in the evaluation and share your experiences with the researchers you are encouraged to contact the lead evaluator, Robert Schofield (firstname.lastname@example.org)
The final evaluation report can be expected around June 2022 and will be made available online.
