Video Showing Joint Response Nigeria

People in Northeast Nigeria suffered greatly since the start of the conflict in this region in 2009. More than 36,000 people have been killed; nearly 2 million people are internally displaced, and another 240,000 people sought refuge in neighbouring countries.

Five Dutch NGO’s and five local partners, funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, work together in the Dutch Relief Alliance to provide emergency aid to the conflict-affected population. In 2019, the Nigeria Joint Response has been able to provide emergency assistance to more than 147.000 affected people. This year, we will support more than 84,000 people in need.
