That is why the partners of the Dutch Relief Alliance have joined forces to organise a range of relief activities in the Afghan provinces of Nangarhar and Herat. International aid organisations supporting Afghan people also face their own challenges. The unstable and insecure situation and the lack of infrastructure require professionalism and efficient cooperation. And after the Taliban took power in August 2021, a new period of great uncertainty began for Afghanistan.
